Na´Vi and Just in OSPL Spring final

Natus Vincere will face off against Just in the Grand Final at OSPL Spring 2011, taking place Sunday at 07:20CEST.

A rather disappointing day one, at least if we look at the HLTV broadcast. A very left-footed start, with only two HLTV's able to connected, later turning out the connection was too poor to handle it. Towards the end of the group stage the problems were however solved and you did get to see some matches.

Speaking of the results, Na´Vi cruised their way through to the Grand Final, only giving away just seven rounds in the group stage and trashing k23 in the semi-final. The match against k23 was a potential final to most, but with a second place finish in the Group A, k23 faced the double IEM champs. With a 16-0 win on de_train and 16-8 on de_dust2, Na´Vi booked the spot in the Grand Final.

Facing Na´Vi in the Grand Final is Just from Uzbekistan. The team qualified by defeating their countrymen Storm in the semi-final with a 2-1 manner. The fight against Na´Vi will be to decide the main prize of $5,400 and one could hope they will manage to take more than the one round they got in their group stage encounter.

The match will take place at the Almaty Towers and is scheduled to kick off at 07:20CEST. HLTV has currently not been tested from the location, so whether there will be HLTV available is a little too soon to say, but we have our fingers crossed.

In the third place decider, Kazakh team k23 managed to overcome Storm 2-0 to win the $1,000 prize. We are currently in the process of adding demos, which was recorded locally during the day. Demos will be available for download later today.
